The Terminus was similar in appearance to the smaller Gage-class transport, but wielded far more firepower. Unlike the Empire's other ship designs, the destroyer was built for speed over firepower, although it still outgunned most Republic ships of similar size, employing multiple turbolaser cannons, laser turrets, ion cannon and concussion missile launchers. It had a crew complement of 520 and could transport up to 285 troopers.
